He wasn’t trying to steal anything, and he wasn’t causing trouble—he simply wanted to be carried. He wanted warmth, comfort, and someone to hold onto. But the moment Cici saw this, her entire mood changed instantly.
Cici has always been playful, sweet, and full of personality. She is used to being the center of attention, the little princess who always gets the first hug, the first kiss, and the first cuddle. So when the orphan baby suddenly begged for my arms, Cici felt like her place was being taken. Her eyes widened, her lips tightened, and within seconds, she rushed over in jealousy.
She didn’t attack, but the frustration was clear. She started pulling at my clothes, trying to climb onto my lap, even gently pushing the tiny orphan away as if saying, “That’s MY spot! Only I get carried!”
