Today’s video starts with Baby Monkey Cici already in one of her moods. The moment she sees the little blue bathtub being prepared, her whole body freezes. Her tiny hands cling to my shirt, her eyes widen, and she gives that look every caregiver knows too well — “No bath. Not today.”
I gently tell her, “Cici, it’s just a quick wash,” but she turns her head away dramatically, like a diva refusing to go on stage. She even lets out a tiny squeal, as if she’s protesting the entire idea of being clean. The funny thing is… she isn’t even dirty. She just doesn’t like the idea of bath time.
When I try to place her near the water, Cici suddenly becomes a noodle—her body goes limp, legs stretching out, arms reaching back toward me, making it impossible to set her down. It’s her classic trick. And of course, she adds the final dramatic touch: a slow, sad whimper that makes her sound like the most mistreated baby in the world.
But we don’t give up easily. I hold her gently, dip my hand into the warm water, and splash a few drops on her arm. She acts like I poured a bucket of ice on her! Her eyes widen again, she gasps, and then she hugs me tightly, burying her face in my chest to escape the “dangerous” water.
Still, little by little, she begins to relax. The warm water touches her feet first… then her belly… and suddenly her dramatic act starts to fade. Cici begins enjoying the gentle rubs, the soft bubbles popping against her fur, and the soothing warmth. Within minutes, the panicked diva transforms into a quiet, calm baby.
By the end, she’s not just fine — she’s completely relaxed, blinking slowly, almost ready to fall asleep. The same Cici who refused her bath now doesn’t want to get out!
That’s Baby Cici for you: dramatic, emotional, adorable… and always full of surprises.
