It was one of those busy mornings when Mom had no time to rest. Her hands were full, cleaning, preparing food, and checking on everyone at once. The sun was already warm, and the yard echoed with little monkey sounds—curious, playful, and full of energy. ChiChi stayed close to Mom, trying to behave while watching every movement with bright, alert eyes.
That was when naughty Pavpav decided it was the perfect time for mischief.
Pavpav bounced over with excitement, his tail flicking as he looked at ChiChi. Without warning, he climbed onto ChiChi’s back like it was the most natural thing in the world. It wasn’t mean or dangerous—just one of those playful moments young monkeys love. ChiChi froze for a second, clearly surprised, then let out a small annoyed sound as she tried to walk with Pavpav clinging tightly.
Mom glanced over but couldn’t stop what she was doing. “Not now,” her eyes seemed to say. Pavpav took that as permission.
He held on proudly, enjoying his “ride,” while ChiChi struggled to keep her balance. She shuffled forward, stopped, turned her head, and complained loudly. Her expression said everything—Why me? Why now? Pavpav, of course, didn’t care. He was having too much fun.
Other monkeys watched closely. Some looked amused, others curious. ChiChi finally sat down hard on the ground, hoping Pavpav would slide off. Instead, he adjusted himself and stayed put, even more determined. That made ChiChi protest even louder, drawing Mom’s attention at last.
Mom stepped in gently, lifting Pavpav away and giving him a firm look. Playtime was over. Pavpav pouted for a moment, then ran off as if nothing had happened. ChiChi shook herself, relieved, and hurried back to Mom’s side.
Even on the busiest days, these naughty little moments remind everyone how lively and unpredictable monkey life can be—full of chaos, laughter, and lessons learned.
