Baby Monkey Cici was having a peaceful afternoon, quietly sitting with her favorite snack—a soft banana she had been saving since morning. Her tiny hands held it tightly as she took small, satisfied bites. Everything seemed calm… until the little orphan monkey, Toma, came running over with his usual dramatic energy.
Toma had only been rescued a few days ago, and ever since, he had one mission: ask for food from everyone. His big round eyes and shaky lips could convince almost anyone—except Cici. As soon as he spotted her snack, he waddled closer, stretching out his tiny hands.
At first, Cici tried to ignore him. She turned her body away, shielding her banana like a treasure. But Toma didn’t give up. He tugged on her tail, then tapped her arm, then finally let out a small whine. Cici let out an annoyed squeak as if saying, “Not again! Go get your own banana!”
She tried walking away, but Toma followed like a shadow. Each time she moved, he moved. Each time she stopped, he stopped too—always staring at the banana with hopeful eyes. Finally, Cici stood up and let out a frustrated little scream. She wasn’t angry… just tired of being begged all day!
The caretaker noticed the drama and gently picked Toma up, giving him his own piece of banana. Instantly, his crying stopped. He munched happily, completely forgetting his mission. Cici watched him with a mix of irritation and relief—finally!
Once Toma was busy eating, Cici sat back down, hugging her banana close and taking a big, proud bite. Her face clearly said, “See? I knew he just wanted food!”
But after a minute, Toma looked over again. Cici froze. Their eyes met.
“Don’t even think about it,” her expression warned.
Toma blinked… then slowly scooted closer, banana crumbs all over his face.
Cici let out the tiniest scream, and everyone watching burst into laughter. Even when annoyed, she’s absolutely adorable.
