It was a noisy afternoon at the family corner where little TanTan, the mischievous baby monkey, was sitting with his tiny body and big energy. TanTan was not in the mood to behave. He had been playing around nonstop, jumping here and there, pulling his mom’s tail, and teasing Marrya, who just wanted to nap peacefully. But when mom finally decided to pick him up and put him down beside Tiny, everything suddenly changed into a loud drama.
TanTan didn’t understand why mom put him down. He started yelling with his tiny voice, full of emotion and confusion. His little face turned grumpy, his lips trembled, and his hands waved around in protest. “Why, Mom? Why you put me down?”—that’s what his eyes seemed to say. Mom just looked at him calmly, trying to keep patience. She knew her naughty boy was only seeking attention, not really angry.
Marrya, sitting nearby, giggled quietly, watching TanTan’s dramatic behavior. The way he puffed his cheeks and stomped his little feet made everyone smile. Even Tiny turned his head curiously toward the yelling TanTan, as if wondering what all the fuss was about.
Mom slowly moved closer and gently touched TanTan’s head. Her calm tone made the atmosphere soft again. “My naughty baby,” she whispered, “Mom just wants you to rest for a while.” But TanTan refused to calm down. He climbed onto Mom’s lap again, hugging her tightly, not wanting to let go.
After a few minutes, the loud little drama ended with Mom’s warm hug and TanTan’s sleepy eyes slowly closing. The once noisy family corner became quiet again. TanTan rested peacefully, still holding on to his mom’s arm as if afraid she would put him down again.
That’s how the naughty yet adorable TanTan filled the family with laughter, noise, and love—a tiny monkey with a big personality that no one could ever stay mad at for long.
