TanTan stood in the corner of the small room, his little tail curled tightly around his leg as Mom gently unfolded two tiny outfits she had bought just for him. One was a bright yellow suit with soft sleeves, and the other was a cute blue outfit decorated with tiny stars. Mom smiled proudly, excited to see her little boy try them on, but TanTan’s face slowly turned pink with shyness.
He kept glancing at the clothes, then at Mom, then quickly hiding his face behind his small hands. Mom giggled softly, knowing her playful TanTan sometimes became shy when the attention was all on him. She knelt down, speaking softly, “Come here, TanTan. Just try them. Mom wants to see which one looks best on you.”
TanTan slowly moved closer, still covering half his face. Mom gently picked up the yellow outfit and held it against his tiny body. TanTan peeked at his reflection and quickly shook his head, embarrassed but smiling. Mom carried him to the bed, helping him slip into the outfit. When he finally stood up, he looked so adorable that Mom clapped happily. TanTan, however, lowered his head, shy but secretly proud.
Then came the second outfit—the blue star one. TanTan hesitated again, unsure if he wanted to change. Mom lifted him with a warm hug and softly whispered, “Just one more, my boy.” Slowly, TanTan relaxed. As Mom dressed him in the star outfit, he felt a bit braver. When he saw himself in the mirror, his eyes widened. He touched the stars on his chest and gave a tiny smile.
Mom asked, “Which one do you like?” TanTan shyly pointed at the blue one, then hid his face again as Mom laughed and hugged him tightly. She kissed his forehead and said, “You look perfect in both, but this one really suits you.”
TanTan curled into her arms, proud, shy, and happy at the same time. Mom’s gift made his day brighter, and even though he felt shy, he loved every moment she shared with him.
